Maximized Efficiency & Uptime: Led the maintenance team for a large-scale desalination facility of MSF thermal desalination (STAGE-1 CAPACITY 4 x 6 MIGPD & STAGE-2 CAPACITY 12 x 7.2 MIGD), re-carbonation plant (CAPACITY: 90 MIGD) and SWRO with re-carbonation plant (CAPACITY: 60 MIGD) at Doha West Power and Water Production Station, Kuwait. Implemented a comprehensive maintenance strategy, including scheduling and tracking routine maintenance, shutdown maintenance, and breakdown maintenance for static (tanks and heat exchangers) and rotating equipment (pumps and compressors). This resulted in reduced downtime and an extended equipment lifespan. Created training materials for junior engineers. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, equipment performance, repairs, and replacements. Organized and directed maintenance shutdowns and startups. Reduced maintenance accidents by enforcing strict safety standards. Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts like pumps and valves. Diagnosed and resolved machine operation variations and equipment problems, ensuring smooth operation. Led major pump overhauls, alignment, and maintenance of RO membranes and reciprocating acid pumps; skilled in compressor and pump condition monitoring with a strong focus on permit procedures.
Contributed to the VOITH hydro coupling maintenance training document for the FD fan by generating acomprehensive maintenance report, demonstrating technical knowledge at Doha West Power Station(Capacity: 8 X 300 MW). Following and making the report for daily workshop activities, troubleshooting the problems during fabrication. Make drawing documentation (equipment spares) for the machine shop and coordinated boiler tube welding.
Conducted thorough inspections of welding joints, testing, and final tank quality, and documented findings in detailed reports. Material management: Inspecting incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and quality, adhering to strict standards, and preventing potential issues.
