Job Description
INSTRUMENT ENGINEER
The Instrument Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, calibration,
troubleshooting, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems related to industrial,
petrochemical, refinery, power plant, and Construction projects. The role involves ensuring all
instrumentation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client specifications,
quality standards, and project requirements. Execute instrumentation and control activities as per project
specifications and approved drawings. Supervise installation, calibration, testing, loop checking, and
commissioning of field instruments. Handle pressure, temperature, flow, level transmitters, control valves,
analyzers, switches, gauges, and related instrumentation systems. Review P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up
drawings, cable schedules, and technical documents. Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and
internal departments for smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company
policies, and client procedures. Prepare technical reports, inspection documents, testing records, and daily
progress reports. Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities during shutdowns and plant
operations. Monitor manpower productivity and ensure quality workmanship at site. Assist QA/QC team
during inspections and testing activities. Ensure materials and instruments used at site meet project
specifications and Approved standards. Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and construction teams to
achieve project targets. Attend client meetings, toolbox talks, and safety meetings when required. Support
preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures .Maintain proper documentation
and handover records for completed works.
E& I ENGINEER
The E&I Engineer is responsible for planning, execution, supervision, testing, commissioning, and
maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial, petrochemical, refinery, power plant,
and construction projects. The role ensures all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in
compliance with client specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Supervise electrical and
instrumentation installation activities at site. Review electrical and instrumentation drawings, P&IDs,
single line diagrams, loop diagrams, cable schedules, and technical specifications. Execute installation,
testing, calibration, loop checking, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. Handle LV/MV
systems, transformers, MCC panels, control panels, field instruments, analyzers, transmitters, switches,
and control valves. Coordinate cable laying, glanding, termination, tray installation, and earthing activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client procedures. Coordinate with
clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments for project execution. Prepare
technical reports, progress reports, inspection requests, and as-built documentation. Support
troubleshooting, maintenance, and shutdown activities. Monitor manpower productivity, material usage,
and work quality at site. Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessment activities.
