Job Description

DESIGNATION: – HVAC TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain minimum or next to zero downtime of AC equipment’s and ensure smooth running of the same

Follow Preventive maintenance plan, assigned by the supervisor.

Perform periodic maintenance checks, for HVAC equipment’s like chiller window AC, Split AC, Package AC, Chilled water pumps, PLC system, Instrumentation, Valves & Auxiliaries as per the maintenance check list.

Observe defects and report on defects to supervisor

Maintain equipment in healthy condition, during routine checks and report any spare requirement to supervisor

Spares requirements to be given to supervisor on look ahead basis

Fill inspection checklist & prepare reports

Handle and troubleshoot all defects, on time without delay

Maintain minimum or next to zero downtime of AC equipment, and ensure smooth running

Troubleshoot equipment and system operational issues.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

ITI in Refrigeration and air conditioning or Diploma equivalent to technical certificate in HVAC Stream or Refrigeration Engineering

Minimum 5 years of experience in the related field

Gulf experience is preferred with G+10 buildings

Experience in HVAC equipment’s installation and commissioning from 100TR – 1000 TR will be additional advantage. (Air cooled chillers, water cooled chillers, package units, ducted split units, VRV, VRF)

Experience in building management system preferred

Additional experience/ expertise in Lift maintenance preferred

Candidate to have worked in commercial buildings, facilities, as well as industrial facilities.

Electrical maintenance experience will be added advantage

Effective communication and reporting skills

Arabic speaking will be an added advantage

Computer literacy required for sending reports through emails

SALARY- 400-500 OMR
