Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the furniture manufacturing process to ensure efficient production, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning and Management
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with the design, procurement, and sales teams to ensure seamless production workflows.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets and adjust schedules as needed.

2. Quality Control
Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure finished products meet company standards.
Identify and address quality issues during production to minimize defects and waste.
Ensure all production processes comply with customer specifications and industry standards.

3. Resource Management
Manage labor, equipment, and material resources to optimize productivity.
Plan for equipment maintenance and upgrades to avoid downtime.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.

4. Team Leadership and Development
Supervise and lead production supervisors, foremen, and workers to achieve production goals.
Recruit, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement staff development plans.

5. Cost Control and Efficiency
Monitor production costs and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve cost-efficiency.
Optimize production processes and workflows to enhance productivity and profitability.
Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and recommend cost-saving measures.

6. Safety and Compliance
Enforce workplace safety regulations and create a culture of safety awareness.
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with environmental and industry standards.
Address potential hazards and implement corrective measures.

7. Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and present production reports, including KPIs, efficiency metrics, and output data, to senior management.
Analyze production trends and recommend improvements to enhance operations.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and inspections.
